| | I use two basic
decorative techniques on these jewelry boxes, with either end grain floating panels,
or solid parquet face grain constructions cut thin and used as a veneer for the
tops. In both cases, I apply knowledge of wood's movement properties to assure
a jewelry box that will become a treasured family heirloom for generations to
