Custom Made Silverware Chests       This is one of a set on nine matching dovetailed silverware chests, all cut from the same curly cherry flitch (a set of boards milled from the same tree, and kept in order of successive cuts for optimal color and grain matching). The client owns an enormous family heirlloom set of silverware, and these chests feature divider blocks designed to house the actual pieces he owns. The chests are sized to all fit in the clients safe.         The hardware was chosen to facilitate removal from the safe. Below is a photo of the nine of them stacked up on our kitchen table.
