This box features eight book-matched pieces of Brazilian tulipwood, the lightest hued of the true rosewoods, in a beveled field of wenge, with holly. The case is figured cherry, with ebony drawer pulls and two dovetailed drawers. The beveled frame fits around the top with a compound miter, so there's extra interior room up top. | Inside the box the corners are fastened with butterfly splined miters. Brusso solid brass lidstay, with padded velvet ring storage in the sliding top tray and bottom drawer.
